Children’s Animation Workshops are fantastic opportunity for children to write, direct and animate a short film.
A chance to let their imagination run wild as they learn the whole animation process in the space of a day. From initial ideas where the children learn about ‘brainstorming’ and developing ideas in a group, to having to think more practically to work out how they can turn their ideas into a film by writing the script, designing models, making puppets, set building and story boarding before actually animating the film.
The children decide which style of animation to make their films in. This could be, for example, drawn, pixilated, plastacine, cutout, sand, lego . . . .
